The world seems out of control, more chaotic than ever before. Fears, anxiety, and worries are at an all-time high. It is essential to take some time to read His Word and sit in the presence of the Lord; this will combat the chaos and fears.
God is our refuge and help in times of trouble. He will never leave or forsake you; you are His everlasting joy, His beloved. His lovingkindness will flow over you if you seek Him with all your heart.
I have set seeking God on a deeper level as my goal this year. I have let my mindset and emotions control my life for many years; it has not done me well and only brought upset and more health issues.
I'm exhausted from living a life controlled by a carnal-worldly thought process. Isn't it time we all chose a new path? One that God has been waiting to lead us on?
Join me as we journey toward a peaceful life this year. Psalm 46 is an excellent place to start. Meditate on the Words, be still, and you will feel God's love and presence. He has been waiting with open arms. God will meet us when we search for Him with all our hearts.
God is our refuge and strength,
very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
